3. Bulk Billing

Complete Heart Centre bulk bills all in-clinic services through Medicare. To be eligible for bulk billing, you must hold a valid Medicare card and have a valid referral from your doctor.

Some services that require external facilities (such as CT coronary angiograms performed at external radiology centres) may incur costs at the external provider. We will advise you of any potential costs before arranging external tests.

Bulk billing eligibility is subject to Medicare regulations, which may change from time to time.

4. Appointments and Referrals

A valid referral from a medical practitioner is a Medicare requirement for all specialist consultations. Referrals from a GP are valid for 12 months. Referrals from other specialists are valid for 3 months.

Appointments can be booked through our website, by phone, or via email. We will make reasonable efforts to accommodate your preferred appointment time but cannot guarantee specific dates or times.

If you need to cancel or reschedule an appointment, please provide as much notice as possible by calling 1300 935 952.
